In 2012 Tom Baker and Philip Moore created Mr. Black, a distillery pumping out award winning cold pressed coffee liqueur. "Their goal has always been clear; create a drop that embodies Australia’s progressive culture and their unrelenting pursuit of steel ground, cold extracted, caffeinated perfection. "

Something really interesting we came across about the company happened in 2016 when they made a limited run of liqueur produced with the expensive Panama Geisha bean. If our research is correct, there were less than three hundred bottles made, and when they were down to the last six bottles, they required prospective buyers to pass a coffee exam before they were able to purchase one. This was to insure that those final precious bottles made their way into the hands and mouths of true coffee connoisseurs. Pretty sweet idea.
