French company Duralex has been in the glassware game since the 40s. They use a tempering technique that makes their stuff impact resistant and twice as tough as normal glass. These 8oz. tumblers are soft to the touch, can be used for hot or cold drinks, and you can throw em in the freezer or microwave.
